Community Transport
Community transport services in London provide essential support for individuals who have difficulty using public transport. Our community transport initiative provides individuals in the community a door-to-door transport, trips to shopping centres, and other essential journeys.
Cherry Groce Foundation works with Mobility Transport (T/A Mobility Taxis) and other local transport organisations as part of the Community Transport initiative to provide door-to-door transport for elderly and disabled residents who find it challenging to use public transport. We work with our partners to provide services like:
Medical Appointments: Transport to and from hospitals, clinics, and GP surgeries.
Shopping Trips: Regular trips to local supermarkets and shopping centres.
Social Outings: Group trips to social events, community centres, and recreational activities.
We believe these services help ensure that everyone in the community can stay connected and access essential services, regardless of their mobility challenges.
